Reverend Odell Cleveland
Reverend Odell Cleveland founded America’s first faith-based community action agency, the Welfare Reform Liaison Project, two decades ago in North Carolina growing it into a $100 million nonprofit organization. Today Odell now serves as chief administrative officer where he is responsible for the day-to-day management of Greensboro’s 7,000-member Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Reverend Cleveland is also the president of Cal Tee Solutions LLC, which serves as a conduit for his business solutions to social ills program. Odell has also spent the last few years as an accomplished writer and co-authored, as well as co-host to the fastest growing podcast “The Common Ground”.
Odell received a Master’s in Divinity as well as his Bachelor's degree in Management. He has shared his experiences and insights on C-SPAN, TV news programs, the Urban Institute, and with educational institutions such as Duke University and University of North Carolina Greensboro.
Reverend Cleveland has chaired several Boards of Directors in areas related to housing and education. He has served on numerous nonprofit boards and committees including the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, The United Way of Greater Greensboro and the Greensboro Opera and today is proud to serve the Youth of North Carolina.
