Bill Goebel

William (Bill) J. Goebel is the current owner and president of MPACT Solutions LLC, a nationally recognized industrial maintenance training company that he reinvented and expanded in 2009 when he took ownership.
Goebel has been ground-breaking throughout his career. He has appeared on Good Morning America, worked on Capitol Hill for the US. House of Representatives Way and Means Committee, traveled extensively throughout the world (42 countries) and has over 25 years of experience in international and domestic marketing and promotions.
Early in Goebel’s career, he had the privilege to launch Vaseline Lip Therapy for Unilever. Under Goebel’s leadership, this product became the #1 selling item in the United States earning him a nomination and best creativity win for the prestigious Esty’s Award. Goebel was also awarded the “Promotion of the Year Award” by Advertising Age.
For 3 years, Goebel served as a Senior Vice President of Mars Advertising. He was responsible for Business Development and secured several prestigious accounts including the Sara Lee Corporation, Nestle’ USA, the Dial Corporation (now Henkel North American Consumer Goods), Black+Decker Inc, and Pfizer Inc.
During the height of the pandemic, Goebel had the opportunity to expand his consultation portfolio and invest in Focus CFO, as area president for Focus CFO, Goebel provides much needed services to small and medium sized companies throughout North Carolina. One client, Homeland Creamery has expanded their operations by 40% in less than 2 years with Goebel’s guidance.
Today, Goebel spends much of his time serving and volunteering. He is very involved with the Boy Scouts of America and is an active board member with Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina and Emmanuel Senior Enrichment Center. He also co-hosts North Carolina’s fastest growing podcast The Common Ground Show with Bill & Odell. He travels across North Carolina advocating the reduction of adverse childhood experiences with the nonprofit/501c3 he founded, Youth of North Carolina.
Most importantly, Goebel is a family man and proud father of three grown children. Goebel grew up in Ohio, but he and his wife, Dori, call Greensboro, North Carolina home. Together, they work tirelessly to network and collaborate for positive changes across North Carolina and in their community.
